Comparing two of Marbella’s most popular prime areas for €1m+ buyers.
Golden Mile
Central, established and close to both Marbella town and Puerto Banús. Beachside and gated northern pockets carry a premium. Much of the stock is older, so renovation is common.
Nueva Andalucía
The Golf Valley offers the widest choice of contemporary and renovated villas, international schools and a strong residential community. Supply is deep, which helps buyers but means differentiation matters at resale.
How we decide with clients
Proximity to beach and town usually points to the Golden Mile; contemporary design, golf and schools often point to Nueva Andalucía. Budget per m² and the specific street matter more than the area name.
